My life has changed so much in the past year (or more). I wish I’d cared enough to make note of it. I used to write a lot to keep track of where I was and why. Since I’ve stopped doing that, I’ve felt kind of lost.

So where am I right now?

In an armchair in my apartment in Renton, that’s where. When I ask myself how I got here (and I mean ‘here’ in the literal armchair sense as well as the more metaphorical sense), I realize that a large part of the blame/credit can be attributed to the fact that over the past 5 years I’ve repeatedly fallen in and out of love with the same person. The person who is currently sitting on the couch of our apartment in Renton.
